Fireplace is coming to your phone.

Fireplace is coming soon to iPhone and Android. For now it is a small, invite-only beta while we finish testing, so it is not in the stores yet.

What you will need

You must be 16 or older. You will need a username and a password. There is no phone number or email to hand over. While Fireplace is in beta you will also need an invite code.

What to expect

Add a friend by typing their username and sending a request. Once they accept, your messages are end-to-end encrypted, with post-quantum cryptography built in. You can read how it works on the Encryption page.
