How to report a security problem. How Fireplace protects your messages is explained on the Encryption page.

Report a vulnerability

Write to [email protected]. Please include the app version, your phone and what you found, with steps to reproduce it using accounts you created yourself. Do not test against other people's accounts or our live systems beyond what you need to show the problem, and please do not publish details until we have had a chance to fix it.

Fireplace is run by a small team. We read every report and reply as soon as we can, but we cannot yet promise a response time. Never send a password, recovery key or private key; we never need one.
